“First I want to thank you for shipping our your game in such a prompt manner. We had our family Christmas this past weekend and we bought the game for my 17 year old nephew who wants to be a farmer. He LOVED it!! And, he cannot wait to show it to all his friends.”

“My wife and I are stationed at the Pentagon. We have traveled quite a bit in the military. We used to have a Life on the Farm game but it was lost in a move. We love your game and now after finding your website we will really enjoy having one again!”
– James Beaudin | Life on the Farm
“Thanks so much for your fast response to our order. I bought Life on the Farm for my 21 year old. I thought he would keep it for his farm related collection. He restores old tractors. To my surprise he and his friends started to play it instead of poker. They have a riot taking cows away from each other. In fact, he wanted another game to put away for his collection, and one of his friends wanted one too. We are going to visit family in South Dakota this summer, and are taking one of the games for them.”

“I work for the Rural Ministry Office of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. I ordered one of your ‘Life on the Farm’ games to make available to church people around the country that are looking for ways to better understand farming and the plight of the farmer today.”

“Thank you for creating such a fun and innovating game. 2 years ago Santa brought this game to our family. It has turned out to be the favorite of ours. The kids have taken it to school for game day and we get lots of questions where I found it, and the nieces and nephews request us to bring it each holiday. As a mom of 4 boys, ages 16 – 5 yrs old its hard to find games that everyone likes and this is it!! Keep up the great work and I look forward to more new games from you.”

“One weekend we sat down with some friends to play this new game one of the guys received for Christmas. We all had a blast. We changed the rules just a little bit. When you lose one of your cows because they got shot or stuck in the swamp we put them in the barn and then the person landing on the west pasture gets to keep all of those cows. This game has added a lot of fun to our weekends.”

“We bought your ‘Life on the Farm’ game last year and have had lots of fun playing it with our friends. People who don’t know anything about farming can also learn a little of what life is really like on a dairy farm. We have told other friends about the game, and have tried to spread the word. I know some of our friends have bought it, too. Thanks for inventing and marketing this game!”
– Linda Peters | Life on the Farm
“We had a good time playing this game it the best on the market. Good luck – sell this game!! I hope this game becomes well-known everywhere!”

“Our family used this game as a supplement to our agricultural studies and it was a hit. The kids giggled their way through the game and enjoyed the sufferings of their siblings immensely. Each one taking their turns at hard times on the farm and then turning to prosperity their next turn.
The price is very well adjusted for the quality of the game and I am so glad to have been able to review this product. It will be enjoyed by our family and friends for a long time and is not the type of game you will quickly get bored with. I found it was great to mix in math/money skill studies as we played, having each child figure out their own expenses and incomes. I had to help them a few times, but for the most part, they were able to complete the tasks on their own, with no intervention and were proud that they were able to compute the needed amounts in their minds. It is a game that I will use again and again.”

“We just purchased this game this week and my family spent Friday evening playing it. They had a lot of fun. My wife grew up on a dairy farm in Ohio. She said it was the funnest game she has ever played.”
– Pastor Don Williams, Believers Baptist Church/Hephzibah House | Life on the Farm
“We want to thank you for putting this game together. We bought it for our son, Nick (almost 8) at our local Farm N Fleet store in northern Illinois last Christmas. It is usually out for a long time. We’ve named the individual cows and we increase the numbers needed to retire to keep the game going.
We just moved last week and it was the first game pulled out and set up. Nick has always wanted to be a farmer. He has it all planned out, how many cows, pigs, etc he will have. He always talks about the twelve kids he wants to have, and the wife who will help. (He includes my husband and I on the farm to help with the kids.) He knows all the heavy equipment he’ll need and what crops he’ll plant. This is our biggest topic of discussion when we are in the car driving. He never waivers in his vision. Your game has given him the ‘feel’ of owning a farm. When we play it we talk like we are farm neighbors.”

“My husband (46 years old) and I (37 yrs) were walking through Farm & Fleet, when he spotted ‘Life on the Farm’. He’s like, this looks like fun why don’t we get it? I told him it did not look like fun to me but he got it anyway when I agreed to give it a whirl. We both really enjoy it and I usually kick his butt all over the farm.
We went to Benton, LA for vacation over New Years to visit 2 elderly friends (60 & 65 yrs) and we took the game with us (on my husbands insistence). Well they enjoyed it so much that we left it there upon their request.
Your game is just great and enjoyed, obviously, by all age groups. But… My husband cannot play any games the way the rules state. He is forever changing things to be the way he thinks would be even more fun. So…… Instead of putting “farm expense” money & slaughtered cows in the bank we lay it on the board and call it ‘Farm Aid’ and whomever lands on ‘shake again’ wins the ‘Farm Aid’ (and we all shake in our chairs when that gets landed on). He also decided that whenever double 6’s are rolled you get to roll again. Do we sound like we have been in the pasture too long??!! We do live in the country (not farmers though) and we just wanted to share with you how much enjoyment we get from ‘Life on the Farm’.
P.S. I sent my order in to you today for another game!”

“I played the game with my granddaughter in Ohio over x-mas vacation and thought it would be a great addition to my farm unit in 3rd grade.”

From a review of Life on the Farm by the Education Clearing House Organization, who reviews educational items for homeschool use:
“EXCELLENT idea to add to a farm unit study or animal unit study. Your entire family will enjoy this one time and time again. Each game will be so different, encountering new expenses and new incomes each time you sit down to play.
The makers of this game (brother and sister team) were raised on a farm, and the game style shows it is made from experience. The two of them had vivid memories of everything you encounter in farm life, this is for sure. WELL DONE, We R FUN!!! This game will be a hit for many who try it, I am positive.
Professional style game, much in the style of Payday, Life etc. Life On The Farm comes HIGHLY recommended by Education Clearinghouse and I encourage you to try it with your family soon! It is UDDERLY Terrific!”
From a review of Life on the Farm posted on familytravelreviews.com:
“Izzy’s Thoughts: Life on the Farm is a lot of fun. I like to play it with my mom. It makes me think and do math. I like payday when I have lots of cows.
Lilly’s Thoughts: I like Life on the Farm. I get to collect cows, but sometimes they run away.
Dani’s and Billy’s Thoughts: Life on the Farm is a fun and educational game. It took us no time at all to learn and has enough possible twists and turns to keep it very exciting. We enjoy playing it as a family. Even Lilly (4) plays with assistance. I especially like all of the calculating, estimating and problem solving that is involved. And it does make you stop to think just how vulnerable life on the farm can be.
Overall Recommendation: This is a terrific way to spend some time with your family. The fun and educational benefits are obvious upon every roll of the dice.
Durability: Quality board, pieces and box just like the bigger manufacturers!
User Friendliness: Easy to learn and easy to play”
